Delivery Information
We offer several methods for delivery of your Cookies by Design gift. Hand Delivery is the preferred method where available. Each method includes delivery confirmation to your email.
1. Hand Delivery: Your gift is created and hand delivered directly to your recipient’s address by a member
of our local Cookies by Design staff or a local courier service helping to ensure the finest presentation. Where available we highly recommend selecting
Hand Delivery. You will receive email confirmation upon delivery.
2. Pick Up: Your gift will be created and available to pick up from your local Cookies by Design shop.
3. Ground Shipping: Your
gift will be created, packaged and shipped via UPS ground service to arrive on the requested date Monday - Friday. While we make every effort to have your
gift arrive on the date selected, ground service can be affected by weather
delays, UPS seasonal volume delays and may arrive 1day before or after your
selected date. This shipping method does not offer a guaranteed delivery date. You will receive tracking information from UPS once your gift is shipped and a delivery confirmation.
4. Overnight Shipping:
Overnight delivery has over a 92% success rate and is guaranteed by UPS. If your gift does not arrive on time, you will need to create a claim with UPS for
a refund.
Delivery Issue: We promise to make every effort to have your gift arrive on the date selected. Please understand delays outside our control can occur due to the following: weather, product availability, holiday rush season, rural area constraints, lack of response by the recipient, incorrect address information entered, invalid delivery date entered and other conditions outside our control.
Incorrect Delivery Address: Prior to delivery, a charge of $22.00 or more will be collected before we can re-deliver your gift. Be sure to double check your recipient’s address and notify us of any changes by calling 855COOKIES (266-5437), select option 2 and follow prompts.
Delivery Date Not Available: The Cookies by Design online ordering system provides a preset delivery date determined by a preset order “cut off” time based on the delivery options available to your recipient’s zip code and gift selected. We do offer a selection of “Last Minute” gifts that can be created and delivered quickly to zip codes within the Hand Delivery area of our local Cookies by Design shops. Delivery dates for zip codes that require your gift to be shipped are preset using cut off times based on the gift being ordered and recipient location. If the date you need is not available call 855COOKIES (266-5437), select option 1 and enter your recipient’s zip code to be directed to the Cookies by Design shop servicing your recipient’s area, they will provide the quickest delivery options.
Specific Delivery Times: Specific delivery times cannot be scheduled online. If you require a timed delivery call 855COOKIES (266-5437), select option 1 and enter your recipient’s zip code to be directed to the Cookies by Design shop servicing your recipient’s area. The local shop is the only one who can schedule a timed delivery where available.
Special Addresses: Hand-delivery and/or shipping is available to most businesses and residences in the U.S.A., except for Alaska, Hawaii, APO, FPO or PO Box addresses.
